So it's your first year in network marketing and it is a scary experience at the beginning. Mostly it's because we're not really ready when we start our network marketing business, there's so much information out there and so much to learn and we try to take it all in at once.

In my first year it was the same, after being let go from my company 6 months before I even knew what network marketing or MLM even was. So one day I just stumbled across a site and went in and had a look at it and became very interested in what I was seeing so I gave my details and signed up.

That's when I said I would do more research into it and see what it was all about and who the industry leaders were and what they were about, I found one guy who I was very impressed by and seemed like he truly cared and wanted to help the people on his team, so I contacted him and joined up under him.

I went over and over the training videos and emails and information that my leader gave me for free. It was powerful the information I was getting and I tried to take it all in at once which led to me having a brain overload

So I took my time did what my mentors were teaching me how to do and it all came to me much easier then.

If we have a look at the most common mistakes that people make in network marketing in their first year, most people don't know whats involved in network marketing when they join up.

Like if I had of known how much rejection you can get following up leads on the phone or even face to face, I probably would have thought twice about starting.

So you'll need to make yourself persistent in getting your content out their to the people online so they can see what you have to offer, the more content and adverts you put out there to try generate leads the better, be it articles, blogging, social media sites etc.

Whatever method your taking, make sure and stay persistent everyday with it. Remember the more work you put in everyday at the beginning the better.

Find a system that works and master it, try not become distracted from personal things in your life, and I know that's easy to say and not so easy to do, but it is just something you have to do if you want success.

These are only a few basic tips for your first year in network marketing but I hope they help you to achieving your goals.
